Foundation Endowments

Foundation for Community Health manages and administers permanent endowments to advance healthy lives in western Montana. Proceeds from some of our endowments can be used for priorities as determined by our Board of Trustees, and others are restricted to certain health needs. Montana’s Qualified Endowment Credit can make endowment gifts even more attractive to donors. To support one of the endowments noted here, or to talk with the Foundation about establishing a named endowment, please contact the Foundation office at 406.926.2522 or Dorcie Dvarishkis, Executive Director, at

The R.H. “Ty” Robinson Legacy Club

Ty RobinsonMembership in the R. H. “Ty” Robinson Legacy Club celebrates our donors who have included Foundation for Community Health in their will or trust, have given securities, or have made a planned gift such as a charitable gift annuity or trust. Whether for current use or to build endowments, support from these donors will bring health and healing to our community long into the future. And that’s the true definition of legacy – something handed on from those who have come before.

We celebrate here the donors who we have permission to recognize for their legacy gifts, through December 2017, to Foundation for Community Health and our founding organization, Community Medical Center Foundation:

Charitable IRA Rollover

A Charitable IRA Rollover Donor

One of our donors noted, "When doing my estate planning and rewriting my Will a few years ago, I was told that my IRA could be taxed up to 75% at the time of my death. This high percentage of taxation appalled me. As a result, I have been taking yearly distributions and also supported women's and newborn care with a direct rollover from my IRA account to the Foundation."
